Digital Fineprint (DFP) has been selected by Zurich as the winner of the UK round of their Innovation World Championship, paving the way for DFP to explore a potential partnership opportunity with the insurance giant.

Zurich launched the competition across 20 countries in a global effort to find and partner up with three outstanding startups, specifically those with a market-ready proposition to improve the insurer’s strategy to serve digital-savvy customers. Participants were evaluated based on their innovation, product desirability, ability to scale and commercial viability.

Digital Fineprint showcased their DFP Risk Atlas, an insurance intelligence solution for the SME market. DFP’s technology generates actionable insights by overlaying data analytics and AI on open data, enabling insurers and brokers to find profitable niches, improve underwriting for sustainable growth, and offer tailored insurance protection to a wider audience of SMEs. DFP will now be competing in the Regional rounds (EMEA) for the opportunity to work with Zurich to launch their products to a wider, international market.
