Following the successful Salesforce Finserve programme, DFP has just launched Engage on the Salesforce AppExchange. The AI-powered Engage tool will enable insurers and brokers to transform the way they manage relationships with their SME clients.

A single source of truth about UK SMEs insurance needs

DFP Engage is the first ever InsurTech solution to be integrated with Salesforce, and provides a single source of truth about UK SMEs insurance needs. In one click, you can see the real-time risk profile of a small business, with in-depth and up-to-date business information including government data, social data, reviews and ratings, website data and policy suggestions.

DFP Engage will help insurers, brokers and MGAs that are already using Salesforce, grow their reach and build long-term profitability in the small commercial market.

Vincent Chan, Software Engineering Manager at DFP says: “our technology combines an insurer or broker’s existing SME customer data with information we’ve gathered from open data sources. Then it verifies the enriched data set to generate uniquely helpful, instantly accessible risk insights”.

DFP’s strategic decision to launch the Engage tool on Salesforce was developed in 2018 when the company made it to the finals in the Dreampitch competition in London, and their participation in the FinServe programme was another step towards building their integration with the Salesforce ecosystem. For this, DFP was picked as one of the top 10 FinTech companies in all of EMEA and was even recently named “Best InsurTech Supplier” as voted by a jury assembled by Insurance Post.

Erik Abrahamsson, Founder & CEO at Digital Fineprint, commented: “With the launch of DFP Engage tool on Salesforce AppExchange, we hope to bring actionable insights to the insurers and brokers who work tirelessly to help SMEs manage risks. We also want to thank Salesforce for all the help, development support and go-to-market guidance.”

The Engage will empower distribution and underwriting teams with a smarter, more efficient ‘Know Your Customer’ research process, improve sales by letting them discovering new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
